The first was by Annie who blogs at - anniesrubyslipperz after taking part in her sew30sewfun challenge for June. The challenge was to sew for at least 30 minutes a day 6 days a week so that anyone taking part could make progress on their projects. Taking part in the challenge was really helpful to me to make progress on several different projects. My wonderful prize was a gift certificate that I haven't spent yet, but I will. =)
The second was a giveaway for a quilt book. This was given away by Angie who blogs at quiltingreadersgarden.blogspot.com . This is a technique book and that is good for me because I've yet to ever make a quilt exactly like someone draws up a pattern. It just isn't in my DNA to do so.Check out their blogs to see what they are up to these days.

Congratulations on your wins!! I have found that my favorite quilts are those that I make up either as I go along or plan from scratch. I really enjoy the process that allows me to be creative...and they are the only quilts that actually fit the picture I had in my head before I get started! I think you are going to have fun creating your own quilt out of you creative head!!!
