"It Moose Be Love" Blog Hop - My Day

Today is my day to post on the "It Must be Moose" blog hop.

I'm running late on finishing up the final Christmas gift from 2023.  But this hop got me into gear on it.

I found this moose fabric last year and it seemed perfect for a niece who loves moose.   Only difficulty was figuring out what to make with it because she really doesn't use tote bags much, and that would have been my first choice.  Her mom suggested a lunch bag so I went looking for an easy pattern.

Pattern I found was off of Etsy, and is easy and a good size.........but the download didn't have instructions when I printed it out.  Oops, so I had to search on youtube for a tutorial on a similar one.  Once I found that it was easy to put together.
Outside is the moose fabric, inside is a moda grunge polka dot.  I used one layer of insulbrite and a layer of a poly fleece for the batting in it.

Be sure to check out what everyone else has posted today.

Very nice gift. Much like you, I tend to run behind in gift - making projects...they will get to the recipient eventually :)
