The blocks were some from a long ago fav fabric sway where I sent out leopard and tiger prints. The panel was bought about 10 yrs later.
Details -
8 pieced blocks from the same fav fabric swap the ones above came from. Scraps used to make the remaining blocks. Panel used was bought at the same time as the leopard (about 2 yrs ago).
Fabrics leftover from the 2 quilts so far. Some of teh stack on the right will be used as the remaining border for the first top. Then, may piece bindings or make another quilt with the remaining ones....who knows
Gratitudes:
1. For good retina specialists thru the last month, 2 surgeries, and what has seemed to be unending downtime. Here's hoping I don't fall into the 5% that need a 3rd surgery to get the repair to finally last.

Those tops look great! They will be gorgeous when you get them finished. I am sure you will know how to finish them too.

Oh I love what you have done with that gorgeous panel print. Glad to hear that you are on the road to recovery with your eye. I think I can safely say, most of us quilters would go crazy if they had to lay face down for an extended time and not be able to sew. Hang in there, it will be worth it in the long run.

Glad finishing up this quilt was such a great incentive to use your 15 minute breaks so efficiently. I can;t imagine what a face down restriction would be like. Hope the end result is positive. Oh, I got a bit sidetracked, this is a great jungle quilt and will be loved.
This is such a cool panel to work with and perfect for off-setting with the special blocks to the side. You are right with what you can accomplish in just 15 minutes of sewing each day. It's so hard to stop after that bit of time though! Great work!
Love the lion panel. The surrounding blocks go so well with it. Prayers for your eyes to continue doing well, and not need a 3rd surgery.
